Alexander Meshechok Managing Director While at CSG, Alex has led, along with Larry Kaplan, the development of the firm’s ESOP practice group. Alex was formerly a Principal of Synergy Capital LLC, a New York based merchant banking firm which CSG acquired in 2001. While at Synergy, Alex played a leading role in numerous equity and debt financings and recapitalizations for emerging growth and established companies in a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Synergy Capital in 1997, Alex was a co-founder and principal of Global Capital Partners LLC, an investment banking firm focused on raising debt and equity for companies in the emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as in the domestic market. Prior to his involvement with the GCP, he was a senior associate in the Capital Markets Practice of Oliver, Wyman & Co. a strategic consultancy focused on the financial services industry. Alex graduated with a BS in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. He holds Series 24, 7 and 63 securities licenses.
