George Thacker

George Thacker’s clients rank among the nation’s largest ESOP-owned companies. His many accolades include Boutique Investment Banker of the Year (M&A Atlas Awards), M&A Advisor of the Year (Finance Monthly), M&A Deal of the Year (The M&A Advisor, M&A Atlas Awards), and Deal of the Year (ACG New York).

Prior to joining CSG in 2008, George was a Vice President at Hilliard Lyons Asset Management. A former attorney with Brown Todd & Heyburn (now Frost Brown Todd), he focused his practice on mergers and acquisitions, tax, and estate planning for middle market business owners.

George received his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, where he was a recipient of the Brandeis Award (for top four graduates).
