Nate Grow's ESOP advisory practice combines more than a decade of investment banking experience with a deep personal commitment to the long-term success of founder- and family-owned companies. His particular focus on helping middle-market businesses navigate complex succession and liquidity decisions leans heavily on an extensive employee ownership toolkit that includes plan structuring, capital formation, tax strategy, valuation, and M&A. Nate’s work reflects a blend of technical precision, strategic clarity, and careful attention to the organizational dynamics of closely held firms.
Prior to joining CSG, Nate led Capstone Partners’ ESOP advisory practice, overseeing engagements across a range of industries, including transportation, logistics, building products, value-added distribution, professional services, and healthcare. Earlier in his career, Nate held senior roles at Houlihan Lokey and Lincoln International, where he advised consumer, retail, and food-and-beverage clients on complex mergers and acquisitions.
A native of Rockford, Illinois, and a life-long Midwesterner, Nate now divides his time between the Chicago Loop and South Bend, Indiana. In addition to his advisory practice, Nate is an instructor in the University of Notre Dame’s undergraduate business honors program, where his academic interests focus on corporate governance and business ethics.
He holds Series 79 and 63 licenses.
